Salary: £65,000 – £80,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client are a main contractor across two live residential development projects in Cambridge between £50M - £120M. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be responsible for budget preparation and estimates, progress reports, final account preparation, client interaction and attend various design team / site meetings.



*Key Responsibilities:*
* Report to Surveying Director, Project Director, and Project Manager
* Coordinate with Design Team for specifications
* Develop and maintain client relationships
* Update Surveying Director on project status
* Review and analyze tender inquiries
* Estimate and tender for projects
* Negotiate cost-effective projects
* Organize pre-award meetings with subcontractors
* Monitor subcontracting and on-site packages
* Handle subcontractor payments and variations
* Prepare final accounts
* Monitor costs and attend cost reporting meetings
* Perform cashflow forecasting
* Stay updated on industry changes
* Execute assigned duties and projects



*Qualifications & Experience:*
* Quantity Surveying degree
* Minimum 5 years professional experience
* Strong understanding of specifications and drawings
* Expertise in extracting quantities and issuing inquiries
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Quantity Surveying Packages
* Proven track record in Commercial/Residential Projects
* Excellent budgetary responsibility experience
