We are helping a top private orthopaedic and sports injury hospital find a full-time Senior Staff Nurse, and the role comes with a salary of £43,000 and excellent benefits.
You will be part of a ward team at either of the company's Surgical sites, providing support to the Senior Ward Sister/Charge Nurse in providing clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing and multi-professional team. You'll ensure patients receive high-quality, effective, and compassionate care.
During your first few weeks in this nursing role, you can expect to take on some of the following:

  • Demonstrate advanced clinical specialist skills to ensure the delivery of innovative, evidence-based care
  • Support the Charge Nurse/Senior Sister to monitor the safety and quality of care for patients
  • Take the lead on delegated responsibilities as defined by the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse
  • Act as a positive role model to provide leadership in the clinical area and promote excellence through practice
  • Be responsible for the unsupervised assessment of patient care needs
